The Fourth Annual Global Alternative Funding Forum will take place on November 6, 2015 from 8 AM to 7 PM. The event is being hosted at the iconic Century Plaza Hotel in Century City, CA. Technology has redefined the venture finance industry, with alternative funding models challenging traditional investing methods. Founded by Victoria Silchenko, Ph.D, the Global Alternative Funding Forum provides the opportunity to see the entire panorama of financing tools available to start-ups and emerging growth ventures, while networking with influential industry peers. “It boasts a truly striking line-up of 40+ speakers and certainly some of the the most forward-thinking companies in the world that are our partners and sponsors,“ said Victoria Silchenko, Ph.D, creator and producer of the Alternative Funding Forum. “Our mission is to educate and inform entrepreneurs on the one hand, and unite all financing branches on the other – from crowd investing platforms, and Bitcoin evangelists to venture capitalists and government officials in charge of DARPA grants.”

Among the scheduled speakers and panelists is Enzo Villani, CEO of Equities.com. Equities.com is a community partner of this year’s Global Alternative Funding Forum. “Over the past few years, capital financing has had a major shift from traditional sources of funding such as a banks and traditional private and public equities, to new sources based on the leveraging the democratization abilities of the Internet and social interaction on a mass-scale,” said Villani. “The Global Alternative Funding Forum has brought together the top leaders in the capital markets, and we’re excited to be a part of it.”

Topics that will be discussed at this year’s forum include rewards-based crowdfunding, equity crowdfunding/crowd investing, royalty financing and royalty crowdfunding, peer-to-peer lending networks, alternative currencies as a new funding source, state funding programs, and financing alternatives for TV, media & entertainment projects.

A new generation of entrepreneurs is searching for fresh fundraising strategies and financing concepts. This year’s Global Alternative Funding Forum looks to provide an intense one-day networking space that fosters entrepreneurial ideas and drives innovation.
